Big bucks for bots — This Thursday, FreightWaves reported that HappyRobot, known for its AI-powered communication solutions, completed a $15.6 million Series A round. This funding will accelerate product development and enhance service efficiency. Despite personal pet peeves with bots, HappyRobot aims to offer a more natural user experience.
FreightVana's Acquisition of LoadSmith
Deals are heating up — As FreightVana finalizes its acquisition of Loadsmith, all signs point towards peak innovation. Loadsmith's 800 self-driving trucks, acquired from Kodiak Robotics, will be folded into FreightVana, promising a future rich with automation.
