Priority Courier Experts Strengthens Network with Acquisition of Indiana-Based Parcel Courier

Same-day delivery company Priority Courier Experts (PCE) recently announced its acquisition of Now Courier, a strategic move aimed at bolstering their presence and capabilities in the Midwest. Based in Indianapolis, Now Courier is a seasoned parcel and local delivery entity with 38 years of experience, boasting a network of seven operational locations and conducting 4 million deliveries annually with 250 drivers.

"I am excited for me and my team at Now Courier to join forces with PCE," stated Ryan Schwalbach, president of Now Courier. This merger heralds new capabilities and solutions for the Indianapolis market.

Although the financial specifics of the transaction remain undisclosed, this acquisition represents the second add-on investment in PCE by its private equity supporters, Trident and Bluejay Capital Partners.

PCE CEO Mark Cossack noted, "This acquisition illustrates our vision of creating a robust network of expedited freight partners that deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions." Based in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area, PCE is a prominent player in expedited B2B courier services focusing on medical deliveries, including specimens, blood products, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.

The acquisition not only fortifies PCE’s expedited transportation footprint across Indiana and adjacent regions but also enhances their ability to deliver medical and other goods more swiftly and efficiently. "We are thrilled to execute our organic growth strategy," said Garrett Anacker, vice president at Bluejay Capital, "by expanding into other dynamic markets with strong incumbent partners."
